Jackson County, OR — Jackson County Library Services (JCLS) acknowledges the announcement that the JCLS Board has requested the resignation of the Library Director. We wish to provide reassurance to our patrons as we navigate the future.
JCLS remains fully committed to delivering a high standard of service. All library branches, programs, and services will continue operating without interruption. Our dedicated staff across the district remain focused on providing reliable access to information, resources, and welcoming public spaces for all community members.
While the Board oversees governance decisions, the mission and day-to-day work of JCLS remain steadfast. Our organization will continue advancing this mission- to connect everyone to information, ideas, and each other. Our patrons can expect the same high-quality service, responsive support, and community-centered programming.
JCLS will share additional updates as appropriate and in accordance with Board direction. We ask for the community’s patience and partnership as we move forward together.

The JCLS mission is to connect everyone to information, ideas, and each other. We provide a wide range of children’s, teen, and adult resources provided by a staff of experts, including physical and electronic collections; as well as Outreach Services such as visit to local schools and childcare centers, and services for homebound patrons.
