Public Hearing Notice: The Eagle Point Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. and the City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 17 South Buchanan Avenue, Eagle Point, Oregon to receive public testimony and consider an application to amend the City’s Comprehensive Plan Map and Zoning Map. The proposed amendment pertains to the three-lot, 2.71-acre area of land identified as Assessors Map 361W03CA, Tax Lot 5400 and Assessors Map 361W03C, Tax Lots 3700 & 3800. The proposal is to change the mapped land use designation from C-1 Retail Commercial to R-1-10 Single Family Residential.
Pursuant to ORS 197.763 (3) (e), failure to raise an issue during this hearing, in person or in writing, or failure to raise an issue with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-maker and the parties an opportunity to respond to the issue will preclude the ability to appeal based on that issue.
