Do you like classic cars? Then mark your calendar for Saturday, August 1, when the Southern Oregon Historical Society will be displaying “Cars through History” between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at SOHS Hanley Farm, located at 1053 Hanley Road in Central Point, just outside of Jacksonville.
This is not just another car show! Fifty cars will be displayed by eras so guests can see and learn how automobiles have evolved over the decades. PLUS…there will be a Food Truck, Ice Cream Truck, Information Booths, Raffles, Car Trivia Games, a Pinewood Derby Track, Children’s Games with Prizes, Photo Opportunities, Farmhouse Tours, our “amphibious” fire engine, and Free Rides in a Model A! All this—and admission is FREE!

Anticipate fun for the whole family—and a great opportunity to enjoy or participate in a “show and shine”! If you have a car sold before 1972, fully restored or not, you’re invited to join us. Participation is limited to 50 cars – AND, there will be goodie bags for participants!
Download a registration form at https://sohs.org/events/car-show-hanley-farm/, fill it out, and mail it to Steven Corelis, 2884 Strasburg, Medford OR, 97504, or email the form to [email protected]. Car placement and setup is from 8:30am to 9:30am, depending on the year of your car. There’s no entry fee, but when you register your car at the farm, we’d welcome a $20 donation (or more, if you’d like!).
We would like to thank our major event sponsor, Lithia Motors/ Driveway, as well as AAA Oregon for their support and generosity!
