Mayor Cheryl Singleton attended the Oct. 16, 2026 Shady Cove City Council meeting via Zoom, so Council President Steve Mitchell ran the meeting. Councilor Art Stirling was absent.
During public comment on agenda items, Natalie Swendener spoke first about the new business agenda item, “City Administrator Spending Authority to $25,000” Swendener said she feels the city isn’t currently in a position financially to grant that level of spending authority.
