Eagle Point City Council sets 2026 goals

The Eagle Point City Council held their regular meeting Jan. 27 for their annual review of city goals for 2026. The goals cover seven categories which include Livability, Recreation, Public Safety, Community Development, Fiscal and Administrative Stability, and Public Infrastructure.

The Eagle Point High School basketball teams have completed their first round of league play with each team heading in different directions. The Lady Eagles continued their home winning streak with lopsided wins over Ashland and Churchill while the boys' team continued to struggle.

According to Eagle Point Police Chief Jim Hamilton Eagle Point resident Jana Dene Tepper has surrendered the rights to all her remaining dogs as part of a plea deal in the “Crystal Drive Dog Case.”
