EPHS Baseball honors their own after OSAA shakeup

The OSAA has realigned the sports leagues for the next four years, and Eagle Point has every reason to be unhappy. For whatever reason yet to be explained, they have created a “hybrid league” that combines 6A and 5A schools together.

EPHS Sports season winds down with wins

The spring sports seasons are winding down as both the Eagle Point High School baseball and softball teams close out their respective seasons in search of a playoff berth. After traveling to Crater the week before and posting a win by both the Eagles and Lady Eagles, the two teams have been on a vastly different trajectories.

Eagle Point High School Baseball sweeps three games against top ranked Crater

It was May 5, and both the Eagle Point baseball and softball teams traveled to Central Point to take on rival Crater in the first game of a pair of three-game series. The Comets’ baseball team came in ranked first in the state, and the softball team was ranked second in the state according to the OSAA. Eagle Nation was not impressed.

EPHS Sports – wins, loses and a whole lot of rain

Thanks to Mother Nature, it was a wild week for the baseball and softball teams of Eagle Point High School. The Lady Eagles began the week by hosting Henley on March 31 where they dropped a narrow 9-7 decision in extra innings.
