
EPHS Softball team wins big at Spring Break tourney
The Lady Eagles traveled to Medford’s Lithia Driveway Field for the annual North Medford Spring Break Tournament where they played four games in two days.

The Lady Eagles opened their softball season March 17 at U.S. Cellular Fields against visiting Wilsonville where they posted a 2-0 victory thanks to a complete game no-hitter by starting pitcher Brylee Leonardo. The entire game was decided in the bottom of the third inning.

The Lady Eagles basketball team‘s playoff run is one and done after traveling to number three-ranked South Albany where they were defeated 62-30 by the Red Hawks.

The Lady Eagles basketball team is playoff bound! The team had the goal to win the last two games of the season after their crucial victory over North Eugene, and they did just that.

The Lady Eagles had a tough stretch of games, beginning with a 66-32 loss to visiting Springfield on Feb. 12, The Millers came into the game ranked second in the state with an undefeated league record and an overall mark of 21-2.

The Eagle Point wrestling team enjoyed a good week posting a 58-22 dual meet victory Feb. 5 before traveling to the Cottage Grove Invitational Feb. 6 and 7 where they took the team title out of 41 schools. The Eagles totaled 272.5 points, 86 points higher than the nearest competitor.

The Eagle Point High School basketball teams have completed their first round of league play with each team heading in different directions. The Lady Eagles continued their home winning streak with lopsided wins over Ashland and Churchill while the boys' team continued to struggle.
