Hop to it GEMS 4H Rabbit Club has success at Spring Fair

The Hop to it GEMS 4-H rabbit and cavy club had a very busy and successful Spring Fair.

The Spring Fair started off with club member Tyson Tomich winning Grand Champion market rabbit pen. The reserve Grand Champion market rabbit pen was owned by Jazmine Miller, another Hop to it GEMS member.

Wildlife and Wildfire

With the East Evans Creek Fire burning close to our backyards, many questions and concerns are popping up on social media, and in person, about how these fires affect our wildlife. First off, forget those “Bambi” images, most of the wildlife will be fine. Lots of wildlife can actually thrive as a result of wildfires, some species even depend on it.
